Jason Schneider

Jason Schneider is Head of Controls Engineering for Drive System Design, Inc. Schneider has extensive expertise in highly efficient electrified and conventional propulsion systems and has served as a technical lead and project manager for a wide variety of mechanical, hydraulic and software projects. Among his key responsibilities are project planning and leadership, supporting technical delivery across a variety of projects and disciplines and customer management.Throughout his career he has supported various controls development projects related to clutch-to-clutch shifting, automatic transmissions, electrified powertrains and AUTOSAR software architecture and controller integration. Schneider also has assisted in powertrain dynamometer development and testing as well as the development of internal software quality tools. Prior to joining DSD in 2017, he worked for AVL Powertrain Engineering as a project engineer. He earned his master’s degree in energy systems engineering from the University of Michigan.

Business Development Manager

Dave is the Business Development Manager for Moog Construction. Motivated by big challenges and a passion for heavy equipment, Dave enjoys assisting customers on their journeys of electrification, connectivity and advanced controls. Before he Joined Moog in 2017, he spent 10 years in the Oil & Gas industry. David earned a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA in 2007.
